Great Vintage looking jacket
I Wanted a Belstaff Bike jacket to look the part riding my new Royal Enfield classic. This is just for summer wear. This Gallanto looks the part but £300 cheaper. My main riding gear is way to hot for this weather. The Gallanto is cool to wear, comfortable and probably waterproof, at least the water beeded off when I threw some over it. Well made, all in all very happy with this summer light weight armoured bike jacket.

Very good value, well made. Only improvements would be a waterproof lapel pocket for wallet. The neck strap is a bit diddly, velcro would be better, or omit it entirely. Thanks for the great service.

Waterproof?

It's a good looking coat. It seems pretty tough. But I bought waxed cotton expecting excellent waterproofing. I immediately ran some water over a part of the sleeve, just for a couple of seconds, but it seems as if the water has penetrated through to the inside. I may be wrong, but I thought the water would've beaded off the fabric. Initially I'm very dissapointed.

Jacket is well made. All stitching seems durable. Sizing is accurate. All season riding jacket. CE armor was easy to install and is a nice feature not typically available with other wax cotton jacket makers. This was a big selling point. Excellent value for a jacket of this quality. Have not tested water proofing yet. Highly recommended.

Really comfy, with inner nice and comfortable. With it out, room for jumper.
Yet to be tested in the rain. When you see the word wax, you think of the old heavy wax jackets but this isn’t heavy at all.

Nice 4 the price BUT.....

.....belt buckle and neck strap buckles are cheap nasty rubbish. Inner protect 'shells' fit too loosely in jacket armour pockets. Pockets not designed that nicely really, could've done better.

Very pleased with jacket. Feel I got more than I expected. First ride wearing it at 42 degrees F it rained moderately hard and stayed warm and dry.
